How do we, as teachers, provide our students with a filtering system so that they can differentiate a good, useful WBLT from the rest?

I think most students have a pretty good idea whether a WBLT is working for them. It is really hard for another person to pick the qualities of a WBLT that will work for all students. What we can do is try to select "promising" WBLTS and provide a selection for students. Ultimately, they will be the ones who will determine whether they are helpful though depending on their skill set, learning preferences, time, patience level ...
